Antique Aurora Silver Plate Shaving Mug

Who would have guessed that this old two piece silver plated cup was actually for shaving.   the mark of the Aurora Silver Plate company was hard to photograph but experts have dated it to 1900-1919.  the company was established in 1869 and that fact is proudly displayed on the bottom in the factory logo. this piece measures 4.5 inches wice and 3 inches tall and is decorated with elaborate floral engraving.  In very nice condition.  The modern shaving brush is just for show and not included with it.  Please look at the photos and ask questions before bidding as there is no return on it.  Payment is due two days after the end of the auction.  Upon receipt, I try to ship within two days.
