Antique Victorian 10KT Gold Locket Hairwork Mourning Bracelet Brown & Blonde.
1 1/8 inch at widest. 6 3/8 inch wearable length.
Beautiful example of Victorian mourning jewelry. May ve a little older than Victorian. Could be Georgian?
Dark brown hairwork band. Gold tests for 10kt. Center is a working locket with blonde hair beneath the glass.
Exceptional condition. Some wear due to age but clearly one of the better preserved pieces out there. Hairwork has very little fraying. Examine all photos as I have photographed this from all angles to show condition. Glass is free of cracks.
Back of locket is engraved with the name Algina I believe.
Lovely piece. A gorgeous addition to any collection.
