Bluebill Hen Working Duck Decoy Original Paint Hand Carved by Danny Lee Heuer.
Original carving by my father, Danny Lee Heuer of Sault Ste. Marie Michigan in original working paint condition, 1984.
Note:  The Drake Bluebill Preener, the match to this decoy has been sold.
My father passed three years ago at 96 years, and he was a master carver of decoys.
Approximate size is:  12 1/2" long, by 7 1/2" High and 6 1/4" Wide.

This decoy has my Dad's trade mark; he carved out in detail the underside of his decoy bills, tool & die training I think.

This Hen Bluebill has been floated and hunted over during the 1984 Duck Season.
After the 1984 Duck Season, this decoy was put on the shelf to join my fathers other rig mates.
