    Description

    PAIR CHARLES "BUCK" HUTSON SOLID WOOD BLUEBILL DECOYS.  signed and branded 2003, All original paint in mint condition, no touchups.    Solid wood, original weights and brass tie rings.  Condition overall MINT and unused as seen in photos.  Buck Hutson is from Bozman Maryland, next to St Michaels and Tilghman Island, and carves in the old tradition with hand chopped blocks.  His wife is the painter, and they have won numerous decoy competitions in the Midatlantic area and elsewhere.  I bought these right from him in his shop in 2003 and they have never left my shelf, they are bold and folky and are excellent examples of contemporary Eastern shore decoy making.   Measure 13" long, 8" tall, 7" wide.
