China Wuhan / Hubei Province Public Security Bureau - Police Plaque super rare!

Up for auction is an extremely rare commemorative plaque and display case from the People's Republic of China's Public Security Bureau of Hubei Province. Wuhan is the capitol city of Hubei, which has come to international attention as the likely place of origin for the virus responsible for the current global pandemic.
This was presented as a gift to a senior US law enforcement official by a visiting Chinese police delegation in the early 2000s. It has been stored away in a climate controlled, non-smoking environment ever since. Box measures approximately 7" x 6" x 2" and plaque measures approximately 4.5" tall by 3.5" wide. Plaque is affixed to box, but can be raised with an internal stand. Note that there is a small bare patch on the outer top corner of the box, where it appears a tag may have been removed.
