French OLIVE Branch Art Nouveau 1911 Layered Rose Gold Fill Belle Epoque Antique

ABOUT:
When I saw this piece it just caught my eye with the beautiful artwork and provenance.  This is a rosy gold filled pendant with a beautiful depiction of an olive branch on one side.  Calls to mind the representation of peace and friendship.  Virtues to cling to during this time. : ) This is an antique piece that I acquired in France, it has the added charm of a very ornate monogram, the date in French: "7 Decembre 1911" which provides a great provenance. It has a religious image on the back side of Jesus wearing the crown of thorns.
Really fantastic layered gold patina on this piece. This is an antique piece from the Belle Epoque era that I acquired in France.  The French were known for their gold fill fabrication in the late 1800s to early 1900s, they would use an unusually thick layer of gold foil over brass to form the jewelry to withstand long term wear.  It can sometimes be mistaken for and acid tests as real gold. Their superior quality laminated gold filled jewelry and their fabrication methods have remained a secret even to today.
It was hallmarked on the loop but I could no longer decipher it.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are in estate condition.  Age appropriate surface wear which has resulted in a nice warm rosy gold patina.  The colors and details are beautiful.  A few shallow nicks, one to one rim and on the monogrammed side, a ripple here or there, along with some uniform surface wear.
But Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition.
