GREECE 20 DRACHMAS OLD LETTERING 1976 OFFICIAL BANK OF GREECE ROLL OF 25 COINS KM# 120 PERICLES UNCIRCULATED BU SCARCEOffered is a scarce official Bank of Greece thick paper roll of 20 drachmas 1976 (old lettering), KM# 120 (pictured). There are 25
brilliant uncirculated (BU) copper nickel coins in the roll.
Obverse: portrait facing left of Pericles (ca. 495 – 429 BC), a prominent and influential statesman, orator, and general of Athens in the city’s Golden Age, his name in Greek on the left. Reverse: Temple of Athena Nike in Acropolis surrounded by the inscription "ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ" (Republic of Greece) and the face value with old lettering (“drachmai”) below. The roll weighs 275 grams (9.7 oz.). The paper of the roll is worn out at the top and bottom edges, consistent with age (pictured).The roll pictured is the one you will receive so please examine all pictures carefully.
