With respect to euro coins issued in Greece, the denomination is inscribed on both sides: one side bears the denomination in Latin characters while the other in Greek characters. For the rest of the European countries (with the exception of Austria) the denomination is inscribed only on the side which is common for all countries. Under a new decision, the inscription on both sides will be allowed for future issues only in countries that  are not using the Latin alphabet.
1 and 2 euro coins are bimetallic (consisting of curponickel and brass-nickel alloys). The theme featured on the Latinized denomination side, common for both coins, is a map of the member-state European Union.
Not all 2002-dated coins were minted in the Greek mint. Those coins minted in foreign mints are easy to distinguish thanks to a letter inside the star that appears closest to the date. 1 and 2 euro coins were minted in Finland (Helsinki) bearing the letter S (Suomi).
Their condition is VG-F!!! AUTHENTIC!!!
