The Kodak Rainbow Hawkeye was a colored variant of the
Vest Pocket Kodak
that was introduced in 1927 with marketing aimed at the women due to its stylish appearance. The basic Kodak Rainbow Hawkeye was produced in 5 colors: blue, black, green, rose and orchid. The body featured a krinkled paint finish to the body that was repeated on a matching case and bellows in a contrasting color. Conventional folding bed camera for 127 film, based upon the Vest Pocket Kodak Model B, but in various colors. The complete folding section, including the bed, is formed as a single piece that then fits into the roll film back. The two have to be separated to load and remove the film.
