    Description

Hi and welcome to my auction. Up for bids is a Kodak Retina IIIC (Big C it matters because of the larger rangefinder window) 35mm Film Rangefinder Camera, Serial #93327 with a Schneider-Kreuznach Xenon 50mm F2 lens, Serial #6296239.  The camera is in beautiful cosmetic condition with no dings or dents on the body and includes original leather case. Lens glass is clean and clear with no scratches or cloudiness. Film advance works as it should, see even spacing on the test negatives I shot with this camera. View finder is crystal clear from a recent cleaning and is a joy to use.
Shutter speeds should correct to the ear. The self times works perfectly without any hesitation.
Test images are sharp as tacks, showing what this Xenon lens can do. Very nice.
Light meter looks to be correct-ish but no way of testing. Test negatives where taken using it and I just pointed the camera outside under sunny conditions and it showed 250 at F 16 with the meter set at ASA 400.
The leather case is in good condition inside and out. The leather clasp is not torn like so many others.
No instruction book is included but can be easily found on google.
Two import things the user has to know.
    1. How to set the film advance counter, if not done correctly the camera will not advance and the shutter will not fire which is normal for this camera.
    2. How to remove the lens and install it correctly lining with the red dots, one on the lens and the other on the camera body then turning to install.
