Description
Often referred to As " Gulliver's Retina " this was only made in 1938 and 1939. Production was reported too be less than 1800. It was made in Stuttgart, Germany and uses 620 film. The lens is a clear Schneider enat 3.5/80mm and it is in a Compur Rapid shutter with speeds to 400. The camera is in very nice cosmetic condition with just a few light scuffs and some black paint loss on the piece that covers the film counter window on the back. The bellows are fine and there are no dents or dings. The only problem is I cannot figure out how to work the shutter. It works at all speeds when I move the shutter speed dial and cock the lever. However, I can't get it to fire using the button on the top of the camera. It may just need film in it to create tension. Sold as is, and as described. Assume it may need some shutter repair, but you may get a pleasant surprise when you put some film in it. A fairly scarce collectible Kodak.P.S. I was told by a fellow EBayer that you DO need film in this in order for the shutter to work.
