Mason Duck Decoy - Vintage Duck Decoys - Wood Carvings - Shorebird Decoy

Up for Auction I have a Great Old Original Mason Tack-Eye Duck Decoy. This is 100% a Mason Decoy and I believe it would have been either a Bluebill or a Redhead, as they both had basically the same body form. I bought this Auction 10 Summers ago at the Joe Leech Estate Auction in Melrose, Minnesota. Joe personally hunted over this Decoy in the 1960's. I remember him saying that a crooked head on a decoy drove him crazy so he personally installed the 2 Metal Wire Supports on the Ducks neck....not a bad idea!! The Duck measures 13 1/2" inches long and is missing most all it's Original paint. There is a little bit of added neck filler on the Decoy, which actually helps the decoys visual appeal. Please look at the photos for Condition, as I am not a Mason Decoy expert. The Original Spiral Dowel is still used to attach the head to the Body. I ship to the lower 48 States Only.
