    Mid 1800’s Amber Glass Shave Mug~Applied Handle~9 Paneled~Rare And Fantastic. I believe this could be flint glass, it has straw marks and impurities in the glass as seen in flint, but I am not quite enough of an expert to say for sure. The condition is very nice. No chips, there are some lines in the handle-fairly typical of applied handle from this era. It has 9 wide flat panels. The handle is applied at the apex of two of the panels-a bit unusual. It is a beautiful deep amber color and has a very heavy and thick bottom. A nice sunburst pattern at the base. 3 1/2”, 3 1/4” tall. This a very unusual and desirable shave mug.
