Description
National Instruments (NI) PXI-2593 500Mhz 50Ω high-density multiplexer switch module. The module is in excellent cosmetic condition - refer to photos. The module was tested to reset, pass self-tests, and properly configure within NI-Switch to all possible topology/matrix configurations. The relays/paths were tested to ensure within specification range for initial DC resistance (all paths well below specification definition for initial/new relay DC resistance by several hundred milliohms), tested in dual 8x1 mux mode (ch(n) path to com0/1), and in 8x1 with termination (ch(N);ch(N)+1). The relay cycle counts are for all relays less than 20 switch cycles each, including both channel relays and topology/configuration relays, basically a new module.PXI Hybrid Connector
This NI module has hybrid PXI connector configuration (smaller upper PXI connector), so it works in a standard PXI chassis, and also in a PXIe (PXI-Express) chassis when installed in a hybrid slot (slot is identified by slot # within dark circle, with adjacent "H").

Dimensionally Flexible Sparse Matrix-
The NI PXI-2593 architecture allows signals to be routed between any channel pair or common pair while maintaining >500 MHz bandwidth and minimizing RF stubs and reflections. The architecture provides more flexibility than traditional sparse matrices because the shape of the matrix is user-defined, and there is no restriction on row-to-row or column-to-column connections.
