NICE LOT OF VINTAGE PHARMACY PRESCRIPTION HINGED BOXES McCARTHY PHARMACY

Description

Vintage lot of 8 different sized McCarthy Pharmacy hinged boxes. All are in great condition as you can see in the photos. They are all dated the 1950's which is shown on the inside lid along with the other information. There is 1 box that measures 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 1 1/4", 4 that measure 2 1/2" x 1 1/2"x 1", 2 that measure 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1" and the last box which is the most interesting measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/2". Last box has a great insert showing the classic hanging apothecary jar. These are great for display and kind of cool to see how medications where once distributed in cardboard boxes as opposed to the nearly impossible bottles of today.
