Pair of vintage NY State Bluebill Duck Decoys, unknown carver

Description

These are two bluebill decoys from, I believe, upstate New York.  I've never been able to find out the name of the carver.  I bought the drake back in the 1980s at a local antique center and the hen about 10 years ago.  Stylistically they could also be from the Great lakes.  Both have had their ballast weights removed, with damage to the drake's bottom from someone using a hammer.  They are 14 1/2" and 15 1/2" long.  The drake's head is turned slightly to the left.  In very good used condition.
