    Description

Rare antique Kodak Autographic No. 3A, model C folding camera with two spirit levels. This camera is rare for a few reasons. First it contains two levels on the back that are fastened onto what appears to be a brass plate. Second the film format is 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 roll film (No. A-122). Last is the age. I'm not sure of the date of manufacture, but last patent date listed on the inside is 1917. My guess is that it is around 100 years old. It has obvious signs of wear and age as can be seen in the pictures. It is missing the front view finder near the lens and the red filter where the number on the film can be viewed. It is also missing the scribe on the back for scratching in information on the film.
The shutter seems to work fine, but I cannot vouch for its' accuracy. The aperture also seems to work. The lens is a 170mm f/6.3 Kodak Anastigmat labeled as No. 14858. The shutter just says "Acme". It also appears to be missing the back part of the view finder on the top of the camera. Weight 2 lb. 12 oz. (1257 grams). Size folded approximately 9.75" (248mm) tall, 4.75" (121mm) wide 2" (51mm) thick. When it is unfolded, it is approximately 8 5/8" (219mm) from very front to very back.
