Description
VEST POCKET HAWK-EYE 1927-1935 with instructionsType H-01: Introduced in late 1926
I use the typology and model designations from Mr. J.H. Kay’s treatise on
The Vest Pocket Kodak Camera 1912-1035
Shutter and diaphragm working properly. Meniscus lens in Kodak two-speed rotary shutter
.00 when new
Bed Type BB-5 (w/crackle finish) (leaf spring hyperfocus catch)
Outer bed type 2 (pin grain leather)
Type 4 camera back (red window w/”use film No. 127” in circle)
Lens standard type D
Wind key type1 (plain, two holes)
Early type B view finder (chrome)
bed brace type B (perforated)
Case covering (pin grain leather)
Camera back locking mechanism: sliding bar type
This camera is in above normal condition but the bellows may not be light tight.
It has its original instructions. However, in the past someone attempted to preserve them or give them a hard cover. It appears they used wax or some sort of glue to laminate the covers.
I’ve 40 of these cuties in my collection. I can’t leave the collection for my heirs to deal with (I’m 72). They would probably put it in a big roll off dumpster, calling it “all dad’s film camera crap” after they put me in a home.
As always, there is

Please ask any questions
PRIOR
to bidding.
I’ll ship anywhere if you pay shipping, you are in good standing with PayPal, and PayPal has a confirmed address. You are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes. I will mark the customs export document with the full auction price for “used camera parts”. I will not mark it as a gift.
Postage to
Russia
will be about USD but for that price there is no tracking or insurance available, only a customs form receipt number. If you want tracking or insurance, shipping may double.
If you want shipping via a private shipper let me know whom you prefer and I will see if their services are available and the cost.
Several of my recent sales, both cameras and other items, have been to foreign buyers. If you contact them through 'feedback' you may learn how things worked out.
I recently sold a small Canon flash for USD on eBay (yes, the foreign buyer got a bargain!) Charges were:
$ 0.20 International listing
$ 0.78 final value fee for the shipping
$ 1.00 Final value fee on item
$ 0.82
PayPal fee on item and shipping
$ 2.80 Total
That looks like 28% to me
