Here is a decoy from an unknown carver/maker.  Solid body of cedar or pine wood. Nice paint.
Tack eyes. Has been hunted over.  Nails showing. See pics for condition.
Purchased by me from an authority on Great Lakes (St. Clair / Erie) areas. I bought it purely as "aesthetically pleasing" and not for provenance (if there is any at all) because I enjoy the real working, abused, shot marked decoys as display pieces, despite the maker or club.
I am thinning out my collection of  "unknowns".
