    Description

    Vintage METOPON HYDROCHLORIDE (Methyldihydromorphinone Hydrochloride) AMBER BOTTLE. A morphine derivative.
    The bottle measures 4 1/8" to the top of the plastic lid. It is obviously empty but once contained 100 capsules. The paper label shows moderate-to-heavy wearing and staining. There is even a portion of the old 2 cent tax stamp on the lid and the left side of the bottle. The label said it was "subject to the Harrison Act".
