Vintage Redhead Duck Decoy, Great lakes

Description

Here's a nice old redhead drake duck decoy from the Great Lakes region.  Although it appears to be hollow, it is heavy with a thin bottom board and lead weighted keel.  When you tap on the bottom board it doesn't sound hollow so I guess the thin bottom board was just added for more buoyancy.  It's obviously been repainted and has glass eyes, but is otherwise structurally sound and in good condition.  Measures 14 3/4" and the head swivels 90 degrees (45 each way).  A good looking bird.
