    Description

    A handsome carved wood decoy duck with green head and black and white body, with gray painted details of the tail feathers. The head has glass eyes and white painted spots on each side of face. 6 1/2" tall x 12" long x 5" wide. There is a metal rimmed round tag affixed to the bottom: 1143. There is also a signature (?) in blue ink on the bottom: "fueve Kordas". This decoy is in good condition overall, there is a 1" scratch (gash?) on top of head and the head is slightly loose. From a great estate of antique furniture in Brooklyn Heights, NY.
