On offer is

1940's
Voigtlander
lens / shutter for  6x9 format projects.
Lens is an f3.5 / 105mm Voigtlander Helomar in Compur-Rapid shutter, w/ original "
green
" Voigtlander 1938 switchable filter

The
Compur-Rapid
shutter  runs correctly at all
speeds
...   I did CLA on the shutter.....
BUT
often
T & B
are finicky, sometimes does and sometimes doesn't function!
I've had dozens of shutters and folders in the parts drawers... from the hundreds of folders I buy off eBay each year whose camera bodies were just either not repairable or simply not cosmetically worth repairing,
despite their advertised eBay condition

I am now at the point where I need to clear out all my excess parts etc. as I speeding up my ease into " retirement "

Which is also why the Voigtlander Bessa RF parts body is included with this listing... it has an intact rangefinder assembly with excellent mirrors, and other miscellaneous parts.... please note, This is a
LATE LATE
model Bessa RF,
in fact the
LAST
model of the RF
. It is covered in REAL, and at the time, luxurious,
LEATHER
!
You may note that this RF already has the front door of the
BESSA II
!! It is though missing its lens standard that does the focusing on a Bessa RF & II. And it used the Bessa II focusing rails which became standard on the postwar Bessa RF's. BUT... the difference between the Bessa RF and the Bessa II foocusing standards is that the focusing gear of the RF is a mm smaller than the focusing gear of the Bessa II. So, while the Bessa RF and Bessa II focusing standards look and are exactly alike... they are EXCEPT for that one little gear the moves the lens/shutter standard back and forth to do the focusing at the end of the Bessa focusing strut.  Hope that helps someone who'd like to give this project a go !!!
It's totally amazing the convoluted " repairs  / fixes " I've seen people do to their folders that have crossed my workbench over the years..... just makes your head spin, rolling the eyes just doesn't cover it
!!!!!
This Listing empties at long last my VOIGTLANDER inventory drawer  for good, ...keeping just enough critical parts to the occassional Bessa repair !!
