    Description

    Zeiss Ikon Orix 308/1 10x15cm folding camera.  Condition  is Used.  Camera looks usable, lens speeds need adjustment, leatherette needs replacement, otherwise looks fine.  No plateholder.  The Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 165mm f4.5 lens has a dial-set Compur shutter.  The shutter trips on M setting, the higher speeds sound OK but lower speeds below 1/50th are erratic.  The lens itself looks quite clear, some dust, no fungus.  Bellows are light tight as far as I can see.  They extend quite easily but I haven't extended the bellows all the way.  The camera body's leatherette is peeling off and would need to be replaced or repaired.  The wood underneath is fully intact.  The ground glass is also fully intact.  Viewing hood opens ans closes without issues.
    Unusual camera, about 100 years old, in restorable condition.  No case, no film holders.
