From what I recall this is a 1938 Zeiss Super Ikonta 6x9 camera that can also do 6x45 images with the mask (not included). This camera was serviced by a well known repair shop (certo6) in spring 2020. The lens is a 105mm f3.5 Zeiss Jena Tessar with a Compur Rapid shutter. There are a few paint chips on the camera, minor wear and tear and a small amount of haze in the lens. It was really hard to see any haze by looking at the front of the lens (pic no. 8), much less photograph, so I put it againt a dark backdrop and used a macro lens (pic No. 9). All I noticed was shooting into direct sunlight gives a little less contrast. As you know, cameras from this era were not coated anyway and have lens flare if pointed directly at sun. If I want pics with strong sun in the image, I use more modern glass, as do most.Certo6 serviced the camera in its current state. He removed as much of the haze from lens as possible and stated there would be a little less contrast, which there is. The bellows look light tight to me. The shutter and shutter speeds seem accurate. The rangefinder is coupled, so you do not need to guess distance to focus. I carefully open and close the folding mechanism. We used it for about 8 rolls of film ( have not tested it with flash, fyi). Its recent service and good cosmetic condition make it worthwhile for someone looking for a vintage folding camera. It comes with the leather case that shows signs of use to be expected for its age (ask for extra pics if needed). I included a colour and black and white image taken with the camera (portra 800 and tmax 100). The black and white was a little underexposed (my error), but they were just test rolls. Both show the film borders so you can see the entire scan. Overall a very nice vintage camera for the patient person who is willing to deal with all manual settings and knows how to use this tool. Please understand this is from before WWII and it has limitations today's cameras do not. If you need additional picture samples, images of the camera or have questions or any special requests, please ask before bidding and I will do my best to accomodate.
